Finally got round to trying the kit.

Pleasantly surprised with the results, ok its not an Iwata brush but for painting 3d models its pretty good, surprisingly good in fact.

The compressor is very quiet, I needed something that is not going to annoy my neighbours and this fits the bill nicely, I have my spare bedroom turned into a craft room and I would not be afraid to use it late at night even though neighbours bedroom is straight through the wall.

The tank is a bit on the small side, it soon runs out and fires up the compressor, especially at 30psi, but the compressor gets it back up to pressure in a couple of minutes even while airbrushing so not a problem. A little more concerning is the compressor (the bit on the top) does start to heat up fairly quickly when running, so I would not consider it for extended use without a break, but for occasional hobby use where you can take a coffee break and let it cool down a bit its going to be fine.

The price from Airgoo was very good, delivery was only 4 or 5 days to the UK which is not exactly slow, overall a perfectly painless transaction and I am very happy with the service and the product.

Definitely would recommend it for anyone wanting to give airbrushing a try.

De Fengda Airbrushset AS-186K is een leuke set voor de beginner die met airbrush gaat werken.
De set met toebehoren is compleet, je kunt er meteen mee aan de slag. Een duidelijke handleing ontbreekt helaas, maar via Youtube word je wel wegwijs gemaakt. De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding vind ik prima.

Excellent product - quiet, efficient and the accessories were very useful. It's a great way to get started with airbrushing at a good price. The dispatch and delivery was quick too.
